MONARCHY OF BLOOD (Final Chapter)- THE BEST EPIC STORY TO READ!

FINAL CHAPTER

Fur and the Mask – The Best Epic Story

Thymyr was quite wise. He knew that as soon as the sun rises, his legion would be present wherefore he plans to eliminate his only threat at a successful victory, “the white flame.”

Legends tell of this flame being the only thing that could kill a prime vampire. It was already predestined that as soon as he wakes up, the fire would seek his death.

“How are you the white flame”?, Witherforth intended to know what manifested in her.

“I just am”, she replied with that cold shrug. “If he is not destroyed tonight, you have no idea what awaits the kingdom.”

“But how can we fight him off”?, The king turned to me.

“A trap”, I went on my knees. “My Lord! I won’t let him get to you, I swear on my life and on the life of my wife and child in that dungeon.”

“Sorry about that”, Zalar patted my shoulder. “If you succeed, there’s a chance that you might be enshrined into the king’s personal guards.”

“Yes my queen”, I forced a smile.

It was quite obvious that I’m no match for Thymyr but as I swore he won’t pass, I had a plan in mind.

“It’s past midnight already”, Thymyr stood by the main gate. “You again!”, He cackled as he brutally drained blood from the last palace guard.

His eyes were fixated on me but there was no way I would let him get close to the white flame. Just as a vessel is to it’s master, the flame would gladly burn Zalar’s mortal body in hope to achieve it’s aim.

“Protect my king and queen”, I whispered to myself. “At all costs.”

“Fool”, the guttural voice turned the moon red. “Do you actually think you can take on five brothers of the prime family before sunrise”?

“What”?, I stood baffled.

It was more or less a necessary course of action seeing that the five stood according to their power ranks.

“I freed the rest Caleb…..now move aside and I just might let you live.”

“Never”, I sighed in anguish.

There was a sudden rush in me. It wasn’t one of duty rather one of vengeance. Winchester my late commander died to keep me alive but I could not recall how I survived that fall.

“Die”, the first one growled as with brief speed, he tore my hands from the sword. Screaming wasn’t an option not when the second jumped from an incredible height crushing my right leg where it laid.

“Pathetic”, Thymyr laughed uncontrollably. “That’s the thing with mortal flesh! So puny! So weak.”

“I’m not weak”, I cried out but another grabbed my neck and pierced his fangs in it. I struggled to break free but his claws sunk into my skin even as tears flowed from those eyes.

“Everyone dies in the end”, Thymyr walked over my lifeless body.

Did I saw this coming? Sure! Was it impossible to defeat five primes? Sure! but just when the tallest among them thought he was done with me, my brain recalled that fall.

I remembered screaming as my body bounced on rocks to and fro.

“Adrian!” I called out to my son. “Daddy will always love you”, but I doubt he will ever hear me.

All that passed me by were the rushing winds and the silent laughter echoes of the monster above.

“I’ll rather not die”, I tightened my fist as claws came out strong. It was a surprise as I became a beast on all fours.

Right where my human flesh should have shattered beyond measure, I landed lightly, running through the jungle at a speed that got me swinging by trees and leaping higher than monkeys.

“The king”, I howled and just as I did then, I howled louder, loud enough to halt the vampires in their steps.

Thymyr thought he knew everything but he never understood the basics of natural combat not when my broken legs straightened in seconds.

“Let’s repeat this again”, I laughed as the first vampire ran to me with the same speed he took before.

“How murderous”, I made jest whilst seperating his head from the rest of his body. The second followed and with jaw dropping speed of my own, I ran him over like a truck.

“Kill that wolf”, Thymyr shouted at the top of his voice but I was way stronger, more or less like a built athletic tank. My agility was exceptional but at the end I was left with the one whose age is subject to debate.

“I wish you more than death”, my scream outgrew his silent chuckle.

“You still do not know me” he replied folding his hands with ease.

I rushed towards him with the big claw aimed for the throat but Thymyr’s speed was a hundred percent less energy.

“Impudence” he flicked me away walking towards the inner chamber.

“Do you know why I killed your friends Caleb”, he asked. “It’s because they’re just like you,………………. predictable. It’s obvious you are undeserving of your son.”

“Undeserving”?, I got up on my feet.

“Step aside”, Zalar walked out on us both. “Day is breaking and Thymyr is still alive. You can’t end this as much as you want to.”

“I am Thymyr, the firstb……..”, He coughs. “I am Thy…….”, He coughs again.

My smile suddenly rekindled. The sun was breaking and there he was filled with blood on his hands as well as pride.

“He thought he’ll be immune”, I stood beside the king. “The sun was never an option.”

“I am indeed immune”, he roared but there he was, burning slowly and painfully.

“Why won’t he simply walk away from it”?, Witherforth asked me.

“Pride your majesty! It was his destiny to die by it”, I replied.

“Come o thou great army”, The vampire screamed to no one in particular. “I am your saviour”, he cried.

I wondered what he felt from the start, maybe he was heartbroken all those years locked in that coffin. His brothers were more or less dead imaginations but to him they were real as his powers brought to life their bones.

“Caleb”, he looked at me. “I swear by you! I, Thymyr, I am immune.”

“Prove it”, I mocked him…..watching him burn limb from limb. He preferred to wallow in it rather than save himself from the fire that gradually ended his life.

“We used to be daywalkers”, he sat in the wake of the little fire.

“But you’ve been dead for a long time! There was no longer a witch’s protection over you or Rokanak”, I squatted before him.

“I’m bound to die”, he laughs hysterically.

“Everybody dies in the end”, I nodded with forgiveness. “You were never meant to walk the Earth.”

“But they will come for you!”, He coughed one last time. “There are others out there! Ones ruthless than I am.”

“Then by the grace of Witherforth Braham”, I drew out my sword, “they shall all die by my hand.”
