GOD ASSASSIN (FINALE)AN ADVENTURE STORY YOU MUST LOVE

The mallet descended with a deafening “Whoosh!”, hurling rocks at me with relentlessness.

“Stay back!” Amadesh bellowed at Dorvares but she snarled in defiance this time, warning him not to overstep.

“Is that all you can muster?” I taunted, slicing through a massive rock with ease.

Amadesh revealed his formidable left arm, its girth surpassing his right. “You will beg for mercy Cryblade.”

I shook my head in disappointment, “bring it big boy.”

Dorvares smirked, “Bad choice of words,” but I stood agile, my blade poised with balance and composure.

Amadesh’s speed was at the ready, a defiler of gravity. His mallet stood engulfed in flames for its rusty surface resembled a makeshift flail.

“New toy,” I quipped, catching it as he hurtled it towards me. The flames seared my skin however I refused to yield.

“My turn,” I reverted, hurling my weapon at him.

The blunt side boomeranged back immediately striking his mallet with precision.

“Be rid of your pride Amadesh,” I counseled, sidestepping his excuse of a warhammer as my blade cleaved it with deadly accuracy.

Dorvares leaned against the wall impressed. “Well done”, she threw me a thumbs up.

Amadesh angrily charged towards me, his strength now god-like. I stumbled, scraping against the walls whilst my blade growing longer. This was of course an eerie aura that made my bloodied mouth giggle.

“For each time he wounds,” my sword spoke. “I grow stronger.”

His exhaustion was suddenly visible, his punches faltering as I gained momentum.

“Do words easily beguile you?”, my healing accelerated fueling my ego.

“Enough Amadesh,” Dorvares intervened. “It’s clear you’ve been bested by my student. Step aside.”

“I said shut it,” the king of hell barked but before he could finish, Dorvares’s iron ring ripped out his intestines with a swift motion.

“Did you think I was second-in-command for show?” she mocked, extracting his heart which beat rhythmically as it fell to the floor.

“Trea…son,” Amadesh gasped, a clear stuttery as he died at her feet.

“You’re wrong,” she opined, kicking his lifeless head off her boots. “Treason is betraying one’s country. I merely sent your arrogant skull back to hell.”

I felt that surge of panic but my sword somersaulted into my grasp, the Vykon spirit now coursing through me.

“Do you think I would spare you for such a predictable display?” Dorvares bowed, her anger solidifying. “Leave now Cryblade else I’ll lose it.”

“Your threat means nothing,” I replied circling around her like a panther. “You and your protégé are nothing but tools to me.”

She didn’t respond; rather she ascended to the rooftop departing to report her actions to the Emperor.

“How bold,” I remarked. “I should have possessed you instead.”

“You wish,” she laughed, her voice fading into the distance. “Tend to the lone fool for me and indulge in my hut’s hospitality up the mountain.”

I relinquished control of the creature without hesitation, dropping the sword into the sand.

“Master, don’t surrender,” I almost pleaded. “With your power and mine, we can usurp the dynasty. The Emperor will be powerless against us.”

Dorvares turned to me, her expression scornful. “You know nothing of the Emperor, this I assure you. Your demise will be considered insignificant compared to the countless tyrants butchered in Nogrid’s hundred villages.”

” Just….go”, she sped away. “And Cryblade, do well to stay hidden.

“Master….wait!” I cried, falling to my knees. “I know where Princess Yeoh is!”, but she was long gone, her form disappearing into the distance.

“We gave your master a chance,” my blade scoffed, its eyes mirroring mine. “Now we target the Emperor ourselves.”

“No,” I rebuked. “We remain in hiding for now. Let General Vorg come to us.”

“What makes you so certain the mage will take the bait?” it grumbled.

“Vorg is like the rest of them,” I replied, sheathing the sword. “They all aspire to be crowned heroes of the dynasty, therefore they will all come. And if they don’t, we’ll join the assassins and ignite a revolution, forging a kingdom where we slay as many that bear the dragon’s flag.”

“Impudence! I love it”, the creature snickered.
